Beyond Milwaukee County:
The Challenges Facing Wisconsin's Other Counties

The challenges facing Milwaukee County government have been well-documented
by the Public Policy Forum and others. But what about other county governments
in Wisconsin.

Do they face similar issues and how are they coping?
Is county government in general a vestige of the past, or is the role played
by counties more vital today than ever?
How are other county governments structured and what do they do?
What does that tell us about Milwaukee County's issues?
Join the Public Policy Forum as we host a Viewpoint Luncheon to explore the issues swirling around county government with an expert panel of county officials:
David Bretl, Walworth County Administrator
Doug Johnson, Washington County Administrative Coordinator
William McReynolds, Racine County Executive
Thomas Meaux, Ozaukee County Administrator
Daniel Vrakas, Waukesha County Executive

Moderated by Charles S. Law, Director, University of Wisconsin-Extension Local Government Center
